Founded in 1990, AIMA is the only professional trade association with worldwide membership representing the hedge fund industry. Today, it has over 1,300 corporate members (with over 6,000 individual contacts).

AIMA addresses the real issues effecting the industry’s development. Its focus on education, regulation, policy development and sound practices has resulted in a substantial body of work used around the world by members, institutional investors, policymakers and regulators.
